We’re up to our old tricks again at So-Cal SWL, this time with another meet-up at the beautiful Griffith Park - our 5th this year! After all the wonderful adventures we’ve had at our last few gatherings ( with something like seventy of you turning out for our wibbly wobbly BBQ and Scavenger Hunt ) I am very proud present to you the event page for the So-Cal SuperWhoLock Halloween Spooktacular!
We’ll be getting together on Saturday the 27th of October at NOON @ Griffith Park’s Western Canyon Road Picnic Area in the lovely city of Los Angeles to celebrate Halloween with a pot-luck style picnic ( As usual, Hunters are encouraged to carry flasked holy water, and use of Sonic screwdrivers is regulated to temporal areas only! ) Everyone ( No, really, everyone! The event is open invitation! - come on guys I say this every time and it’s like you still don’t believe me. Everyone means you! ) is welcome to attend, and cosplay is, as always, welcome and encouraged!
In addition to the pot-luck, we will have;
- A pan-fandom team scavenger hunt with prizes
- Halloween themed Cosplay contest with prizes
- “Let’s have dinner” - our usual trip to Hooters with the whole group!
Even if you can’t make it, please reblog this if you know anyone who might be interested in coming! We love meeting new people, and we’ve made some amazing friends that last few months. It’s always a shame to see people who miss out on the events purely for not knowing it was going on. Signal boost the hell out of this!

I’ve actually been thinking about restarting mine (I forget if I was playing black or white) since I only made it to the second gym. hahaI’m not sure where I’m at in Black (I think it’s pretty far actually) But I might just restart because why the fuck not

Well Alex can borrow mine. I have both black and white, one is unplayed and I also have two other DS’s since I bought the 3DS and I kept all my old ones.
My boyfriend’s son Sean noticed the cast of my face looks a lot like someone else.
I started a page on my tumblr to keep track of cons and cosplays I am doing. This will be updated from now soon as I can and know what I am doing. Also I’ll start having tracking tags for each new costume to see the progress on each one easily. I still have much more to add to that list which I’ll do tonight after work. I’ll also be sure to make posts when I do update it.
Then picking up Ellensama later on.
