I will never be able to read this and understand how anyone can find it true. I know a lot of you may identify with it, but it makes me extremely sad, and I can’t accept it. It’s so…not what love is about.

I’m sorry, but it’s not as if I’ve never been hurt before. I’ve never had a girl or boyfriend, and I know exactly what it’s like to have people say ‘Let’s just be friends’ or ‘This probably won’t work out’, to be rejected before you’ve even asked, to have to watch someone else be whisked away by the one you love.

Love isn’t to be hated. I know everyone has shit experiences that can scar for life. I know that it’s hard. I know that love isn’t always roses and sunshine and happily-ever-after. 

The line “It eats you out and leaves you crying in the darkness”—- that’s where I get completely thrown off. Love doesn’t leave you crying in the darkness, LOSING IT does. That’s what this is about. LOSING love.

I totally agree with Neil here but this is only one part to the story of love. Then comes the day when this happen but that silly person doesn’t break you, they take that piece and hold it dearly to their own bits and all that pain and hurt you have been through is slowly fixed, piece by piece. If you hate love and it’s caused you nothing but pain, keep going. When you find that right person its completely worth it.
