Too Many Professional Hobbies

I need to do it now so it can get here and I get to start the fun time of dyeing it which is going to be a mix of silver, dark browns, and some hints of blond to get Mads hair color right. I got a lace front so I’ll be able to style it slicked back or with some slight bangs he gets from time to time. His hair is very much like my Uncle Peter’s, same style and color, so it helps I know what it needs to look like.

I’m going do my best to also get Altair done, but if I don’t I’ll either wear Hannibal some more or Derek Hale. I really want Altair done in time but I’m also super excited for Hannibal.

Well in an actual pack, you become Alpha by having a fight and winning. You wouldn’t necessarily have to kill him, just win. I’m trying to remember, has there ever been a time when Derek and Scott had a fight in season 2 and Scott won?

The only fight that they had that I can remember is during Ice Pick (I think) and Derek won. I think he’s won every fight although Scott has come pretty close.

But if that was the case and they went in that direction it kind of seems like a shitty way for Scott to become Alpha or at least in my opinion. They’d have to work that idea pretty well for me to be cheering for it but then again Derek NOT being Alpha would piss me off.

The only way so far we’ve seen someone become an Alpha was by death of the original Alpha (Laura became the Alpha) and then by killing an Alpha (Peter killed Laura) which is why I’m wondering if there are other ways to become an Alpha other than what we’ve seen. For all I know you could be right.

On the other hand, Scott becoming the Alpha looks pretty dramatic. About 10 times more dramatic than Derek becoming the Alpha who was just like *poof* I’m the Alpha now. So there might be more to this than what we already know.

I have a very strong feeling based on what we see in the previews and what we know of the character and foreshadowing of season 2, that Scott becomes an alpha through need and pure force of will. It would make for an interesting character development anyway, because here is this kid who made himself alpha without killing anyone because it needed to be done, but I would think that kind of forced power would leave an impression on the person doing it. 

To me by Scott becoming an Alpha this way is more Wolfish. Wolves of the wild fill roles as needed. Each pack member has a job / skill set. They move around and change roles when its called upon of them to. I think Peter had to kill Laura to become an Alpha because he is part of the Hale pack. That in a pack you have to remove that role to move around because that is how it is structured for them to do so. So by living by the ‘Werewolf Rules’ it forced Peter into one option to become an Alpha, via death of his niece.

Scott was never part of a pack and was made a wolf. His role is to his self and for the first 2 seasons he was figuring out what that meant to him. Its why he rejected Derek and never said he was part of his pack. Scott doesn’t have to play by the same rules Derek does. Scott is trying to become a person with a better life and more control over it, to fill the role of an Alpha in his own life makes sense. I think this is why the Alpha pack wants Scott. Its rare for a Werewolf to do this and let alone figure it out on their own.

I do know they want Derek to kill someone from his own pack. Which I’m sure really means kill Scott despite him not being pack. This will push Scott quicker into stepped up to the challenge and the role of an Alpha. If they know and can figure out how Scott does it, they can make more Alpha’s for their pack with out the need to kill another member. The thing to keep in mind about the Alpha pack, they only want power in the end.

I still want to try some whiskey purely because it seems to be the preferred drink pf a bunch of my favorite characters (i’m looking at you Winchester) but overall I’m more likely to go for fruity drinks

Well if you want to do Whiskey right, you have to work up to it. You also have to drink Whiskey a certain way to get the flavor to taste right. Some you can drink straight, most you start with some water and work towards drinking it straight. Most recommend taking a sip, holding it until your mouth burns and swallowing. Then take a normal swig and your mouth will just feel like it completely opens up to the taste of it.

I can’t say Whiskey straight has been enjoyable for me yet but cheap Whiskey taste a whole lot grosser than good Whiskey. I had one that tasted kind of oily, that was just nasty. Also be aware, most people like Dean who drink whiskey don’t do so to enjoy it, its basically how can I get drunk real fast.

I think you’ll like Bourbon because its strong, sweet, and leaves you feeling all warm inside. My main go to drink for Bourbon is 1 1/4 oz Bourbon (I like using 101 proof Wild Turkey), 1/2 oz Spiced Rum (Captain Morgan’s), 1/4 oz Triple Sec, and Ginger beer (for a kick) or ginger ale (to be classy and have a smooth relaxing taste) to fill.

Its just funny people think that. I can handle a lot personally but I totally freak out about needles. When ever I do I think about Jackie Chan to feel better. This is a guy who has broken most of the bones in his body and had put him self in danger time and time again for a stunt but will freak out over needles.
