I am actually paranoid about threads coming undone, so I tie at least a triple knot /after/ I backstitch XD
If you use this method its really solid. I’ve had yet for this to fail me.
Cosplay Help - Backstitching
New to using a sewing machine you may still be starting and ending with extra thread and then tie a knot. A better way is when you start sew forward two to three stitches, put your machine in reverse and sew back one or two then go forward until your done. Do this to both ends and it will securely hold in place. Just cut off the extra thread and your done!

ALA Update
This week I’m really going to try and blast through most of my photos cause I have some events well mostly the Supernatural party and Fanime stuff I need to spend most of my time working on so I cleaned most of my house, doing better energy wise so here’s to hoping I can most of this done!
